Surprises:
Inglourious Basterds misses out on Best Picture nomination.
Oscar front-runners Sandra Bullock and Woody Harrelson left out (their films were ineligible since they haven't been released in the UK).
As if Up in the Air wasn't losing enough ground already, it misses out on a Directing nomination.
