Back when our Hollywood Video store was closi...Yup. Back when our Hollywood Video store was closing many years ago, they had their close-out sales. I bought a bunch of DVDs for cheap, and this was one of them. I had no idea what it was or anything. When I watched it, it did very much test my patience, but you're also right in how it does earn its emotional moments and ending. It's a very, very tough film to sit through for all of these reasons, which is why I've never gone back to rewatch it since.
